Fuel Injector Maintenance 200 1988

I've cleaned my injectors like in the above setting in the past. Yes there's some tangible effect but not much. Nowadays I much prefer the Italian tune-up method.

Maybe our pintle-type injectors don't gum up as often as other types.

However you might need to clean them when you do preventive maintenance replacing their O rings with Viton (iPd sells them) every 10 years or so.
