Volvo 240 gauge mount isolator rubber feet 200

I have just finished re-installing the clock on my 82 GLT and I found two of these rubber mounts on the floor of the car when I was finished. I thought they were broken off but I see they are for sale on ebay.

Where do they come from? I had to take out the clock because I was changing out the headlight switch and that led to removing the instrument cluster which led to the clock removal and the rubber feet are collateral damage.

I'd like to put them back in but just not sure where they belong.
