Kevlar timing belt 900

Hi, a few years ago (5 maybe) I purchased a kevlar timing belt for a red-block from someone. I do not see it on any of the vendor sites anymore. I recently rebuilt my engine and installed the one I had purchased a few years back. Since it does not seem to be available any longer, I was wondering why. Is no longer available? Why? Was it a slow mover? Was it defective? I'd like to know, especially if they did not hold up so I can replace the one I have on the engine since it is now an interference motor because of an aftermarket cam.
