Volvo B18 - B20 - B30 - 544 - 122s - 140's - P1800 Swedish Mechanical Fuel Pump 1963

My Peirburg stamped steel mechanical fuel pump on my 1963 544 developed a big fuel leak from the bottom after sitting not cranked for about 3 months.

I have temporarily installed an electric fuel pump next to the mechanical fuel pump and it runs fine.

I prefer the mechanical fuel pump. Many vendors don't list as fitting the 544, but do list for the 122 and 1800. Being a B18 engine the pumps for the 122 and 1800 should fit ?

Has anyone had good service from the cast bodied pumps like this ?

Any particular brand ? There are many choices on eBay but maybe they are all made by one company ?
