94 940T on life support

I suspected the muffler as a possible exh blockage considering the visual evidence.
Not the problem as it turned out

Fuel filter is on my list to check.

I'm leaning toward fuel pump(s). This happened about 10 years ago.
Died on the highway when the tank was below half full.
I surmised at the time the lifting pump had died and with a full tank the main pump was able to draw fuel until it got to a certain level.
The tank is below half full now.

Will post on results.
