Rear Main Oil Seal Leak? 200 1988

If you have to replace the RMS, buy the Volvo OEM one. Any after market crap will just be a waste of money and you'll have to do the job again.

To check your pressure for your PCV system, place a rubber glove over the oil filler cap, with the cap removed of course and see whether the gloves blows up like a balloon, or gets sucked somewhat into the oil fill hole.

If it gets sucked in, your pressure is good, if it blows up like a balloon, you then have a clog some where in the PCV system.

Good luck.

Matt
