Gear selector indicator 144 auto 1970 140-160 1970

Volvo 144 auto With column-mounted gear selector. Date of manufacture 1970.
I am looking for the mechanism that activates the gear position indicator
P R N D L that is located just below the instrument panel.

The previous owner removed the mechanism in a failed attempt to repair the indicator and his mother threw the parts into the rubbish bin!
