ever seen this Volvo???

What's interesting to me is all of the American car styling cues. The bulge over the rear wheels is directly from the 1952-54 Ford. My mom drove 2 of them both '52's - both black 4 doors. My cousin bought one of them and put 160k miles on it. My dad gave me a '53 convertible to play with when I was 14 or 15 years old (around 1961 or 2) . I nosed and decked it and used a house radiator grille stamping in place of the Ford grille - my first custom job. Of course it got sold (on Dad's used car lot) but I wish I had it now - Flathead V8 and Fordomatic tranny. Now that I think of it--there were lots of cars that passed through I wish we had now - my dad saw cars as a "product" but he had a knack for finding all kinds of special cars. -- Dave
