vacuum line repair 900 1994

Vacuum lines are widely available at auto parts shop. I've been using these for quite some time in the past but the problem is - they always get mushy after exposed to oil vapours after a few years in the car. Even those colourful silicone ones.

About 5 years back I installed OE vacuum lines bought from brick/mortar Volvo parts shop and they worked great! Its quite pricey per foot but virtually oil resistant. After being awhile in the car they automatically became harden and shrunk gripping the vacuum nipples more. They're still good today. Looks like could last another 10 to 15 years. An unspoken Volvo quality!

Amarin.
