Driveshaft Carrier Bearing

Hello, I have a few questions about replacing the carrier/support driveshaft bearing on my 240. Around 25 mph there's a constant whine coming from underneath the car and if I put the transmission in neutral the sound is still there. I've looked on FCPEuro and have found everything with ease, but one thing I'm wondering about is that the u joints are labeled as front middle and rear, correct me if I'm wrong but there isn't a middle u joint right? Also, how would I go about removing the carrier bearing without a press? Thank you for any advice!
