SPICER 30 Differential non positraction or LSD drive 1800 1967

Hi

Sorry for the slow reply. Welcome to the brickboard!!!!

On an open differential, it may depend on the drive shaft rotation direction and how the works orient? Yet both wheels will or usually receive equal power. May not appear that way if one tire is on a road surface and the other tire in on gravel or mud where. I dunno if there is a dominate drive wheel on an open differential.

There was a dissuasion in a thread and Michael Yount / Phil Machine Man provided description, I guess?? I've been trying to find that thread and cannot. The description, if you can find it, is most eloquent in how they state it. I can't find it using the search feature here or Google. Not tried Bing.

Please see Anthony Hyde's site page on RWD Volvo differential:

Another web site with info you may find useful:

In the Format column, click the PDF to open the PDF file in a new tab as your browser configuration allows. You may want to download the file to your local network volume versus the PDF opening in the browser if your network is slow.

Questions?

Hope that helps.
