Here's what I can imagine, if we can assume the correct pump was installed and the 94 looks like the 92 I was into.



This damper or accumulator is a press fit on both the pump output and the feed tube it supplies. If it is leaking here, or from the damper itself, the full pressure developed by the pump would be split between the leak back into the tank, and the output to the filter.

Also, either filter could be clogged.
