940 wagon mpg 900 1993

Mine mpg has ranged from 15 to 22,,trying every thing to get it better.My 89 740 w basically the same setup did 34mpg on the highway & 26 mpg around town,mosst parts have been replaced w new,,,& still it was around 20..I thought I didnt have a vacuum leak but on A HUNCH, I replaced 2 rubber elbows on the passenger side of the intake & the cruise control bellows,,,drove around town for 60 miles,,,filled it up & WELLLAAAA 26 mpg!!
My doggiess are soo happy!!!
More$$$ for food forthem & finely crafted beers,,for moi!!!
