Windshield 200 1989

"What is the deal with getting a later model windshield , without the Trim?"

The short answer is FW667, comes with the trim, and you get rid of the clips. If you really wanted to keep that piece of anodized aluminum, you'd just buy a new clip kit, and fit an FW404.

Long answer is in here: http://cleanflametrap.com/windshield.html#LWR, and good for another thread.

Nice to see you're still Volvoing, and that you're building now too.
