Your Opinion on Oil Filter and Transmission Magnets? 200 1988

Fix the threads on the drain plug, and as mentioned in your other thread -- change oil and filter regularly. If you're concerned about the filter doing its job over the interval you choose, halfway through the interval, change the filter and top up. To take it one step further, send an oil sample off to Blackstone Labs. For a very modest charge, they'll analyze the oil and tell you a lot about what's going on in your 300k mile engine.
