240 electronic speedo removal with ANTI-TAMPER Connection 200 1993

Hi Mike,

I dug up an old picture showing the retainer clip pushed on a gauge without the electrical plug, in an attempt to show how its fragile tangs mate with the square holes in the speedometer circuit board. It is white on white, so it is hard to make out here without some physical context, but the idea is to release the tangs (simultaneously) where they lock into the square holes.



Here's a photo showing the square holes in the board.
