hi arty b- thanks tons for your always superb advice. all these years seeking your good advice- hold it, never did see one question though was sage art stumped- did it ever happen and you gave up? anyway will try exactly what you said which confirmed my suspicions. first though I will roll the #8 fuse to see if that takes care of it like it did on the signal problem last week. if no soap then down will come the dome light assembly . lately strangely have had a clump of 1F ailments with the 245. the next time someone asks me when in the hell are you going to get rid of that uglyasa mofo brick tank, someone may get hurt. will advise you on my current success or clusterf@!#k. oldduke
