Rear package shelf covers 700

If you purchase or make a rear package shelf cover, consider getting or making one that covers the top of the rear seat.

Some years ago, we purchased a Black "90 744 TI that belonged to a female lawyer that worked for a dealer.

The car had 125K miles - the interior was like new - the rear seat looked as if noone had ever used it and I suppose that the driver was slight in stature because the drivers seat was also like new and about 1 inch higher than our other 740s.

BUT, the top of the back seat was dull and inflexible and its stitching was coming apart.

If you park in the sun often, consider protecting the top of the rear seat, even if you take good care of it.
