444 6 Volt Wiper Motor on 12 volts 444-544

I experimented running my 444 6 Volt Wiper Motor on 12 volts. Runs crazy fast.

I happen to have a GM A/C blower motor 3 stage dropping resistor (they mount in the duct near the blower on older GM cars/ trucks).

Looks like I may be able to have two speeds or if too much torque lost on low setting then probably have enough torque at the next faster setting.

This 444 is undergoing major modifications, so 6 volt battery won't be a choice.

Using a Chevy S10 2.8l V6 with 5 spd.
