1990 240 right vs. left control arm bushings 200

My 240 noisy front end has been made quieter by installing Bilsteins and ball joints. Still hear clunks though. I am going to replace the control arm bushings. I have four new ones that I have had for years, though they are not packaged. What is the difference between right and left? Visibly, I can see no difference.
There is writing on 3 of them;
1. 15
2. 1273 711
3. 15 R
4. No writing or numbers at all.
Bentley shows two drawings, neither of which looks like mine. Mine are solid rubber.
What happens if you install them incorrectly?
