I just looked at Airtex E3778 and found them on Amazon. Cheap price, but in the reviews I read some experiences good, other ones just like my deplhi experience.
I guess you pays your money and takes your chances.

I have concluded that the two biggest issues against driving a 30 year old car are the quality of replacement parts, and deteriorating wire insulation in wiring harnesses or other hard to access places.
