M40 top cover and shift alignment 140-160

I need to see if I have a good picture of the piece. As I recall there is a spring which I think attaches to the small hole at the top in your photo. Do you still have that spring? If not, it may be down inside the case somewhere requiring some fishing around, both because you need the spring and it will come to go good end down in the case.

I will post if I get a good picture.
