Fussy IAC on 1991 Kittys Grey Volvo 240. 200 1991

Replaced IAC with a used unit that was clean inside as the one removed.

All three IACs I have on hand are used and present the same resistance using the aged Radio Snack DMM (I want my analogue Simpson multimeter back.) Something like 36-45K Ω. I'm unsure.

The IAC I removed was unable to maintain idle as the engine warmed. It has been a little fussy for some years.

So I imagine an issue with the solenoid electro-magnet.

The 6-year old TPS was fine yet I readjusted it, linkage was fine and I re-lubed the socket ends, TB valve (bushings) are fine, as are grounds and harness connections. Yet the replaced IAC restores a rock solid idle better than before.

Hope that help kats. 1990 240 L'il Red Wagon needs new tires, rear flex brake lines, a cylinder head gasket replacement (as does the verdigris 1992 240 GL), and more. With K-cam hopes for both? Restore A/C in slovenly humid Saint Louis featuring the Oak and Elm Tree Jungle. Canopy cover is nothing what it was in the 1970s, tho.
