re: 93 245 auto - bilstein shocks, oil separator, and more 200 1993

Hi All,

It's for my friend's car. I want to clarify a few things.

#1. Someone on the forum had mentioned about the clunking noise. The Bilstein B4/touring shock doesn't make any clunking noise. The top stud fits snug into the shock bushing sleeve.

#2. You don't need to remove the intake manifold to remove the oil separator. I removed the air intake bellow and idle control valve. Remove two bolts using a 1/4" ratchet with an extension to clear the housing. Lift 1" straight up, tilt the oil separator towards the strut tower and remove.

I have a question. During the warm-up, the car hesitates when pressed the gas pedal. After the warm-up, it runs fine. I cleaned the TB and idle control valve.

Thank you as always.
