The ZXL100PG is the original PAG46 oil for the compressor made by Zexel. And PAG oil is recommended for all R134a mobile ac system. There are also non-mobile R134a refrigeration system such as freezers and refrigerators which use POE (ester) as its lubricating oil. This consensus had been made by MACS.

The ZXL100PG is unobtanium nowadays so alternative similar PAG46 oils are ND8, SP10 and Volvo's. Don't just refer to the oil label such as ND8/SP10/ZXL100PG to tell its viscosity and type. Its just a commercial label. Please refer to its MSDS online.
