1993 240 Fuel Pump relay 200

I am trying to identify two relays under the passengers side dash board, behind the glove box on my 93 240 wagon. One of the relays is white and has 6 pins. (I thought this was the fuel pump relay). Next to this relay is a plug that has jumper wires in it but no relay. What relay goes here? The Bentley book calls this a "main relay" but what is that and what does it control? So far in checking several online sources, I have not been able to find anything about this mystery plug and what the correct relay is to replace the jumpers with. Any help is appreciated. Thanks,
Steve
