Vermont Titles?

Hi Dave,

Vermont no longer gives titles for any vehicle older than 15 years. They will register any vehicle beyond that age with a simple bill of sale.

I sold an 89 Volvo to a Canadian a few years ago. It was supposed to have a title to clear the border, but when I inquired at the state DMV they gave me a letter saying that they don't give titles, and that letter was good enough to get the car through.
