Clocking the transmission mount 444-544 1964

Hi all, I hope you are staying safe and healthy through everything happening in the world right now...

I've finally got my 544 back up and running with a nice freshly built B20.

I've had a heck of a time figuring out how to properly "clock" the transmission mount on this car. I've tried it a couple of times, and neither time has been correct. The transmission either sits too high or low, and it causes some other weird vibrations and things to happen. The car is still wearing the original M40 (though I'm hoping to stuff a M41 into it eventually).

Is there a trick to this? Maybe a drawing I could reference? Changing this mount out is a real pain, and I'd like to get it done right once and for all!

Thanks as always.
