wire colours and interpretation 200 1982

Hello Phil,

Well, let's see now.

I have the following wires running to the radio/cassette player:

white wire
light blue wire
black wire
white wire with blue stripe
blue wire with white stripe
dark blue wire that runs to a fuse
red wire

The black wire is a ground. I think the two striped wires go to speakers. And the dark blue wire runs through a fuse.

That leaves:

the white wire
the light blue wire
the red wire
as mystery wires.

My guess would be that the dark blue wire is B+ and if I connect this wire to POS and the black wire to NEG of the battery I should be able to get the cassette tray to react when I hit the FORWARD or BACK OR REVERSE

If I am wrong I hope the fuse blows!

Bob
