89 240 Window issues 200 1989

Hey Phil,

Thanks for the advice. I have searched the board for other window posts and one I found that might be helpful said that with an old regulator it can get jammed up to the stop when its in the up position. I'm going to futzed with that today and try to trace wires. The Bentley bible might have the wiring diagram.

I couldn't get the link you inserted to work...I'm not the most computer saavy. I will check the relay cause all the other windows work with the switches and when I try the other working switches with the driver's side wiring it does nothing....so its either a dead relay, a dead motor or its stuck.

1) I'll examine relay
2) Hook up leads directly to window motor...think 12V is too much or ok?
3) Carefully start taking screws out and loosening things and see if I can get any movement
