further to some of your other thoughts 200 1982

Hi Dave,

I am pretty certain this is the original unit. I bought the car in 1992 at an auction in Vancouver and I have information on the original owner. I think I am the second owner.

To your questions: I have a manual aerial that mounts on the driver's side A pillar. Not the windshield aerial thank heavens.

I am not worried about collector plate regulations. So far I keep a couple of cars licenced at various times of the year. Right now I have the Jaguar and the GLT licenced. Whenever the Covoid thing gets over with and ICBC opens up again I might apply for collector plates.

At the moment I am using my reserve driver seat again [it is black instead of camel] because one of the buttons I installed broke. It would definitely not allow for a collector plate status. My work on the original seat might not stand up either. I tend to fix what is broken and leave the rest alone.

I am a fossil when it comes to radios, etc. Your advice on getting a better sound system is interesting. Maybe not on this car. But the radio on the Jag keeps doing weird stuff when I am trying to play a CD. It has a slot for a cassette, as well as the CD by the way and it came into this world in 2000.

Bonnie Henry is cool.
