PV544 trunk lid leak 444-544

Alcohol usually works best to remove glue. A q-tip is slow but effective. After the weather strip is off, clean the paint with more alcohol and a cloth to prepare the surface for the new weather strip.

New weather stripping normally comes glued with a peal off strip. Dry mount it first to check the length. Do NOT stretch while installing, take your time.

My 'new' 1995 850 had loose weather stripping above the trunk. I glued it back down with 2 sided water proof tape. Three plus years and still good.
