I thought maybe it was an ignition switch problem but I just pulled the switch and the small rod that turns it from the key is sheared. Any ideas on where to proceed next?

I assume that will require removal of the lock and Bentley says to remove the steering column to do that. Then, is that part even available or am I looking at used?
