Trunk Latch Guts Dr. 200 1993

Looking for someone that has gone to the trunk latch school of higher education and would be willing to pass some of their knowledge on to a poor soul like me.
The 93 sedan has an inoperable latching mechanism. I removed the three small bolts that hold the latch in place but I'm stuck as to where to go next. Any suggestions.
