1990 B234F 16V Engine Coolant Temperature location ? 700

I want to replace this sensor on my new-to-me 1990 740 GLE.

But I'm having a tough time definitively locating it.

To me the front most sensor with a white plug looks to me like the ECT. The sensor behind it is definitely the one the temp gauge.

And, I don't see any sensor under the intake manifold toward the firewall, where it was on my B230F.

I'd appreciate any hands-on guidance from the B234F crowd.
