new brakes x4, new front calipers; now loud squealing when applied 700 1988

After all the troubles I had with my dragging brakes, requiring complete replacement and a master cylinder, I find myself driving an ear piercingly loud squealing car whenever I apply the brakes. I mean LOUD. I am not only angry that the mechanic allowed the car out with such a defect, but want to know what can be done to fix them (in case he tries to charge me more for "fixing" them.) It has been 3 weeks of driving, with no signs of it stopping ,Suggestions?
