Fuel Pump? 200

One thing that hasn't been mentioned if I read all of the thread -- there's a short section of fuel hose inside the fuel tank. Connects the output of the in-tank pump to the metal fuel line that runs up to the fittings at the top of the tank. Over time, that hose breaks down and breaks up. So the pump can be working fine - but the output of the pump can be not all making it into the fuel system -- just pushing fuel around in the tank. The only way to know if that's contributing is to pull the in-tank assembly out and visually inspect it. Your car is of an age where that's likely a problem or going to be any day now.
