Hello Phil,

Yes, 3/16" fuel hose is the correct size.

And even though they weren't originally used, we like to install hose clamps on the fuel hose connected to the pipe from the fuel pump. The piece between the float bowls is trapped so we don't put hose clamps on that piece of fuel hose.
