Best Hood Release Method W/ broken Cable 900

I haven't experienced this problem yet, but I support a bunch of 940s my daughters, my wife, and I drive and while working on one of the 940s my daughter hit a deer with her 940 I couldn't help but wonder what the best way to get the hood open if the release cable broke.

If the cable to the two hood latches should break under the hood, what is the best method to get to the latches to release them?
