Cigarette lighter removal 200 1991

Hi,

I believe there is a thin metal (stamp out) ring nut on the backside that will have to be spun to spin off the housing of the cigarette lighter.

I also believe you will have to remove two wires from the slip on spade type connectors, otherwise, you will be spinning the wires round and around.
The center post is the positive voltage wire and the more bare one is the negative side.
It will, Be nice, if they have spade blade connectors on the USB device. No cutting and splicing!

You will have more room, to see everything, if you remove four screws and two twist clips around the center console. Two are right in front of the transmission shifter.

This way you get a couple inches of slack in case you have large hands or stiff fingers like us older folks! (:-)

Phil
