Cigarette lighter removal 200 1991

I have that panel removed on my 245. The "ring nut" to which machine man refers is actually the backside "shell" that screws onto the front part. The ground wire attaches to a blade built into the "shell" and the positive wire connects to the lighter fixture itself. You must remove both wires before you can unscrew the "shell" from the fixture. The ground wire connector is bare--the positive has a plastic shield. - Dave
