Use the clutch on electric overdrives. 444-544 1965

Hi Tom, I use the clutch when shifting in or out of OD, it makes them last forever.

I got hold of an early model OD and it pretty much needed a rebuild as it would NOT climb a set of car ramps in Reverse, in all other ways it worked fine. I'm pretty sure a weak reverse means the clutch is sad, I just never got around to checking that with ODGuru(Dwayne?)

I put it in my Dad's 142S low compression 2130cc B20B, K-Cam, ported head including welded exhaust ports, B20E exhaust system & 4.10 diff & he drove it for 100,000 miles, then I got it & put another 20,000 on it & it still works 50+ years on.

I know the owners manual says don't bother with the clutch pedal, but, the clutch is much easier & Cheaper to replace than rebuilding the OD.
