I'm not sure what you mean by "white block 240". The M46 will transfer from any B21, B23 or B230 as a bolt-on --- with some differences in the flywheel for models with flywheel triggered ignition. An M46 as fitted to the V6 B27 or B28 and in-line 6 cyl Diesel are different in the bell housing and the flywheel. - Dave
