Windsheild trim 700

So I am well aware that front windshield trim has been NLA from Volvo for more than a number of years. Junkyard availability has pretty much dried up as well (along with the rubber parts of the trim pieces). Has anyone been successful in pulling the trim, finding appropriate rubber pieces, and replacing the dry, cracked rubber portions with something that works, looks decent, and lasts a good while?

Anyone have suggestions for solutions to the cracked & dried out rubber on the windshield trim?
