electric cooling fan seized 900

Just for the record:

Started hearing some weird noises while standing at a light, like a squeaky fan pully or something. I thought it was another car's AC compressor. The next day, I smelled electric overheating or melted plastic. Luckily I was almost home. Under the hood I noticed smoke from around the radiator. I remembered the noise and realized the fan motor had seized and when asked to run, it smoked instead.

Had a replacement in the parts department. Easy in and out
