There is plenty of literature available for the car, including copies of shop manual and parts manuals.

for some fun, go to tube and see - volvo snow race, long version - terror tractor - Volvo PV Rallying | Crashes & action - and many of the old Volvo ads.

Also search tube for Volvo Spa care- A-traktor, teens are allowed to drive 2 passenger cars that can not go over 25 miles per hour - early teens take old volvos, cut the car down to a pick-up cab and install two transmissions - one of them is left in first gear to limit speed. There used to be many pics of 544 pick-ups driven to high school.
