Some 444/544 Questipons 444-544 1963

Hello Barry,

Welcome to the forum.

Posting pictures is a bit difficult here on the Brickboard and I prefer to enter the HTML in my posts to link to pictures that are on the web.

Which style of steel wheels do you want? The original steel wheels for a 1963 544 are the solid type and they use larger style of hub cap. The later wheels have oval slots and use a smaller hub cap. Both styles used the same trim rings.

Used wheels, trim rings and hub caps should be fairly easy find and I might be able to supply them. But there's a not to oft spoken problem with the old steel wheels and that is over time the holes for the lug nuts get bigger from repeated removal and installation and if ignored, the wheel can pull over the stock lug nuts and the use of oversized lug nuts is highly recommended.

FYI, new reproduction steel wheels in both styles are now available as are new hub caps and new trim rings.
