Warm start problem with 95 Volvo 940 Wagon, non turbo 900 1995

Hello everyone,

I am experiencing a bit of problem to start the 1995 940 Volvo with warm engine. Initially while cold, the engine fires up fine however, after driving for a while and turning the engine off, it would have difficulty to start up again. While cranking the engine to start, it hesitates by making pupping sound. The engine finally starts after a few tries.

Sharing your thoughts and experience with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Habib
