No start, 1990 240DL Wagon Been Sitting 3-4 years 200 1990

So basically, the AAA person was of no use.
If a car has been standing for some time, all kinds of nasties can occur. Who rests, rusts, as they say.

What fuel system is this car equipped with?

I would begin with the simple things. Check if the fuses are still making good contact, a known weak spot in this car is the fusebox. Take the fuses out, look for corrosion, clean them and the holders and put them back (preferably one at a time and with the battery disconnected).

If that didn't solve the problem, then I would check for spark. If the ignition system appears to be working, it's now more likely a fuel problem.

Follow pdunn's procedure to check for fuel flow and fuel quality from here.
