Overdrive Solenoid sources...?

Hey, folks.

I did the front u-joint and driveshaft bearing last weekend. While I was down there, I looked at the side of the transmission to read the ID plate. An AW70L. Nifty!

Anyway, I happened to see that the OD solenoid is corroded on the top. I thought I should price one because I want it to be reliable... and I can't find *any* new ones in stock anywhere right now. It looks like MTC made them with a part number VM292 but I can't find one on FCP, IPD, eEuroparts, even amazon (ew) and ebay (ick).

It's making me nervous that I can't find yet another part that I know dies occasionally for these cars.

Maybe a volvo dealer? Or a toyota? These transmissions are the A43D toyota transmissions used in some toyota vehicles in the 90s. I haven't checked with Alltranz, which is where I got my gaskets for the valve body assembly.

Happy bricking
